Kerry's camp has made a point of saying the surgery will be conducted
by the "chief of sports medicine" at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Sports medicine--that makes it sound manly and virile. Increasingly,
what used to be called orthopedics is marketed as "sports medicine"
because the concept is so much more acceptable to Boomers.
