Various BlackBerry software, notes and tips. (Many of these links lead straight to OTA (over-the-air) download links if accessed via a BlackBerry.)

• Google Mobile Updater – (you want this!) installer/updater for Mail, Calendar Sync, Maps, Search, Picasa, and some others (more info).
• Google Talk
• Yahoo Go – useful for Flickr integration, if nothing else
• Opera Mini – web browser; renders sites a little better than the default
• Tips and Tricks – for the BlackBerry Pearl (8100)
• BlackBerry Maps – not as good as Google Maps (e.g. addresses must be precise, doesn’t have a postcode search for the UK) but is an alternative, and is integrated into the OS
• Facebook App – from BlackBerry, few features but it works
