Microsoft's Core Fonts

Microsoft’s “Core Fonts” used to be freely available on Microsoft's website.

Unfortunately, these have now been removed, apparently because they were being repackaged, modified and shipped with commercial products in violation of the end-user license agreement.

However, as per the license, it is possible to redistribute the fonts provided the packages are not modified, as is the case below.

To extract the fonts from the `*.exe` files on OS X, you’ll need cabextract (available via homebrew and MacPorts).
