Sounds as though he might’ve started out with this conclusion in mind though, since he mentions being suspicious of Barbara Ehrenreich’s Nickel and Dimed, and also talks about a guy, Adam Shepard, who worked up from nothing to a car, house, and $2,500 in savings in 10 months.
