It it is strange, though, that neither the online retailers nor credit-card companies ever seem to be too concerned by these sorts of security problems either—especially strange in the case of credit-card companies, who would seem to have the most to loose. American Express, for example, offers an Online Fraud Protection Guarantee: “Use the American Express Card online, and you won’t be responsible for any unauthorized charges.
