Wikipedia questions

  1. Is there any par­tic­u­lar policy on what words should be linked and what should not? Re­cently I’ve removed links to “discovery”, “sexy”, “retirement” and “consumers”, but I’d be happier doing so if such non­sense links were of­fi­cially discouraged. (I also ques­tion whether any­thing much is gained from linking to “France” in phrases like “… was born in France in 1929” but this prac­tice isn’t quite so annoying.)

  2. Are you sup­posed to do any­thing in par­tic­u­lar after re­mov­ing spam from an entry?
