When you use (curved) nail scissors, are you supposed to match the curve of the scissors to the curve of the nail, or “oppose” the curves?
That is, are you supposed to do
- FINGER) (SCISSORS
or
- FINGER) )SCISSORS
?
I just discovered, after a few months of (2), that (1) actually seems to be a whole lot better–the curve keeps the scissors away from the nails (better visibility/clearance, especially the corners). Is this what you’re supposed to do though? Nail clippers obviously work like (2), although this could well be a red herring.
