My Desktop

I recently re-discovered an old blog post that contained some screenshots of my desktop almost 15 years ago, and it interesting to revisit, so I thought I’d do it again.

Unfortunately, I don’t really use multiple desktop windows anymore–it has always been slightly annoying on OS X (and in the first few years, it was impossible)–so there’s really only one genuine screenshot I can provide: my desktop.

But, since that’s no fun, here’s another one showing a few different applications (the soon-to-be killed Aperture) and Spotify.

This is running OS X 10.10.2 (Yosemite), and it’s mostly Apple icons in the dock, with the exception of Atom and Spotify. Another non-Apple app I use semi-frequently is DxO FilmPack 5. After many years using bash, I switched to fish about a year ago.

An finally, here’s a picture of my actual desk.
